Bandcamp Friday the company forgoes its usual cut of every sale and donates that back to the band. Bandcamp was sold by Epic Games to Songtradr last week, and staff has unionized in 2023, but have met with resistance. Bandcamp Fridays have accounted for $188 million dollars from sales in 2023, and the company has paid artists over $1 Billion dollars since its inception.
