The Worlds Authority on the Coronavirus Again States That Concerts and Festivals Are “Unsafe for the Next 18 Months”


Following up on previous statements he made last week, Dr. Ezekiel “Zeke” Emanuel, a special adviser to the director-general of the World Health Organization, has once again said that he doesn’t anticipate it to be safe to return to concerts, sporting events and other mass public gatherings for another 18 months. Researchers insist that things like concerts and packed stadiums cannot happen until there is a vaccine for the novel coronavirus, which looks to be at least a year away. “If 1% of the population has COVID-19 and half are asymptomatic, that’s 250 people in a stadium of 50,000, all touching chairs, eating food, talking and jumping and shouting. Rob Halford of Judas Priest Asks Metal Fans “To Stay Home” To Stop the Coronavirus


Once again, Metal God and Judas Priest singer Rob Halford is doing the (dark) lord’s work, posting a PSA urging metal fans to stay home to prevent coronavirus from spreading. According to the World Health Organization, the only way to contain the virus and stop it from getting worse is to self-isolate and stay at home, not going out unless you absolutely need to. More than 685,000 coronavirus cases have been reported worldwide and more than 32,000 deaths so far, putting public health systems and emergency services under immense pressure.
