Duff McKagan Nears Completion Of New Solo Album, Shooter Jennings Producing


Rock legend Duff McKagan, who has released new music with both Guns N Roses and Walking Papers this year is putting the finishing touches on his next solo album. Produced by Shooter Jennings, the two worked out of Station House studios in Echo Park, CA, in-between McKagan’s tour with GNR and the release of Jennings’ eponymous album, Shooter. Alice In Chains Live At Hammerstein Ballroom


Opening the evening was Seattle band Walking Papers. Known more because of their regular members Duff McKagan and Barrett Martin, this is an act too good to miss. Even down a few guys and playing with some fill-in musicians, the band won over the anxious crowd with incredibly soulful rock music. No BS, no self-depreciation: just rock and proud to be rock. Amazing songs and performances, especially by frontman Jeff Angell, who is incredible. They have a recent EP out from 2018, and you should all go get it now.

Alice In Chains Teases New Single Premiering Tomorrow


Alice In Chains, still one of the biggest and most influential bands of our time is dropping new music tomorrow! Titled the ‘The One You Know’, a brief teaser of a song and accompanying video clip is streaming over on the bands Facebook page. The band kicks off a headline tour this week with support from Walking Papers,  so hopefully fans will get a new song to hear live, to whet their appetites for the still as yet to be announced new AIC album, expected later this year from Columbia Records.

Walking Papers Chosen To Open Dates For Alice In Chains


Modern rock band Walking Papers has been selected as the direct support for the upcoming US headline tour from Alice In Chains. The band famously features Duff McKagan (Guns n Roses) and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season) but due to prior commitments, neither member can join the tour. Frontman Jeff Angell and keyboardist Benjamin Anderson will instead be joined by guitarist Nate Faley, bassist Dan Spalding, drummer Will Andrews and saxophonist Gregor Lothian for all dates, listed below.
