Florida Court Rules in Favor of Dean Guitars in Dimebag Darrell Estate Lawsuit

A Florida federal court handed Armadillo Distribution Enterprises, Dean Guitars‘ parent company, a major legal win on April 24, 2026, dismissing eleven of thirteen claims brought by the estate of the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell Abbott. The estate, managed by the trust “In Dime We Trust” and overseen by Rita Haney, still faces two outstanding claims. The lawsuit has been ongoing for five years.

David Allan Coe, the outlaw country legend who crossed genre lines in stunning fashion with his country-metal collaboration Rebel Meets Rebel alongside  Rex Brown, Dimebag Darrell, and Vinnie Paul of Pantera, passed away on April 29, 2026, in hospital intensive care. He was 86 years old.
