On July 19, 2025, Finnish rockers, The Rasmus, headlined the Atlas Festival in war-torn Ukraine, as the event’s only foreign artist. They have now released the short documentary film, The Rasmus in Ukraine, covering their time in the country, with the income generated from YouTube will be donated to The Good Donations Foundation. The Rasmus have announced they will represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, tonight, May 12th, of 2022. The Rasmus were already crowned the winner of Finland’s Eurovision selection contest, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), after delivering a knockout performance which won over both the international jury and Finnish public, earning the band a landslide victory with 310 points.
The Rasmus have announced they will represent Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin in May of 2022. On Saturday night, August 26th, 2022, The Rasmus were crowned the winner of Finland’s Eurovision selection contest, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), after delivering a knockout performance which won over both the international jury and Finnish public, earning the band a landslide victory with 310 points.
