Once again, Metal God and Judas Priest singer Rob Halford is doing the (dark) lord’s work, posting a PSA urging metal fans to stay home to prevent coronavirus from spreading. According to the World Health Organization, the only way to contain the virus and stop it from getting worse is to self-isolate and stay at home, not going out unless you absolutely need to. More than 685,000 coronavirus cases have been reported worldwide and more than 32,000 deaths so far, putting public health systems and emergency services under immense pressure. Rob Halford of Judas Priest has revealed via a post on social media that he is releasing a new holiday album, Celestial! The “Metal God” posted that he will reveal all the details of the album at 9 PM PST tonight (9/5/2019) on Instagram. He released Halford III: Winter Songs in 2009 and his last solo release followed a year later with Halford IV: Made of Metal.
