Listen to Sevendust Cover Soundgarden’s “The Day I Tried To Live”
Sevendust has released a new single and lyric video for a new cover of Soundgarden’s 1990s classic song, “The Day I Tried To Live”. The track is a tribute to Chris Cornell, who died in 2017. The song is their first new music since the band released All I See is War, via Rise Records in 2018. Sevendust’s version of “The Day I Tried To Live” was produced by Michael “Elvis” Baskette, and the lyric video for the song was created by Wayne Joyner (known for his work with Dream Theater).
