The remaining living members of Soundgarden have not played together since Chris Cornell died in May of 2017. Last night in Seattle at the legendary Showbox Theater the band reunited with local post-Grunge / Soul singer Shania Shepherd to perform a short set of Soundgarden hits, deep cuts, and a cover as The Nudedragons for the Smooch Children’s Hospital benefit show. The band were also joined by Guns N Roses bassist and friend Duff McKagan who also performed tonight. They played “Kickstand” and covered “Kick Out The Jams” by The MC5.
