Slipknot Officially Sells Stake in Their Catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners


 

According to a  published report from The Hollywood Reporter, Slipknot has completed a deal to sell its music catalog. The deal — which is said to be worth approximately $120 million — between members of the long-running metal band and HarbourView Equity Partners includes the rights to Slipknot’s publishing and recording masters royalties. Ben Koller Partners with Heavy Music Collective (Metallica, Baroness, Greta Van Fleet) for Digital Publishing and Royalties


Ben Koller (Converge, Killer Be Killed, Mutoid Man) has teamed up with royalty expert/musician Dan Hegarty (Conflict One Zero) to launch the Heavy Music Collective. Operating as a division of publishing administrator Word Collections, the collective already boasts clients like Metallica, Baroness, Converge, The Offspring, and Yngwie Malmsteen.
