Sad news as the music community has lost another one of our own. Tom George of TAG Publicity passed away, on the evening of December 11th, 2024. His sudden loss was felt by the online music community and industry peers, journalists, and bands shared their memories and condolences. Tom got his start in the music industry initially working with Static-X as his first client. Other clients included Neal Schon of Journey,  Doyle of The Misfits, Fozzy, Buckcherry, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, Prong, Bloodywood, Lords of Acid, Shallow Rising (ex Lamb of God), Nova Sons, Blacktop Mojo, Small Town Titans, Die So Fluid, and others. Over many years with other PR firms and his own brand TAG Publicity, which he ran with his wife Tracy Ann George, Tom helped launch and promote the careers of countless artists with his tireless advocacy and never-ending positive attitude. In addition to music PR, Tom was a family man, a passionate Minnesota sports fan, and concerned with the welfare of his fellow people. He will be greatly missed. RIP. Continue reading →
