The PDX Pop Now! Festival returns to Portland, OR for its 12th year on July 24-26, 2015 with over 45 genres-spanning sets from Portland musicians. Set amid the Southeast industrial district at AudioCinema, the festival will feature two stages, food carts, a street fair, and Portland’s renowned band basketball tournament Rigsketball. The event is free.

PDX Pop Now! will continue their partnership with Music in The Schools, providing a second year of curated sets from Portland high school bands.

Now in its 12th year, what started as a listserv for Portland music has grown into a non-profit organization with over 100 annual volunteers. As a launching point for new Portland bands, and a historical reference point for others, bands that have performed over the years include Blitzen Trapper, Grouper, Joggers, The Thermals, Menomena, Mirah, YACHT, Slimkid3, Witch Mountain, and hundreds more ranging from pop to metal and hip hop.
