Drummer Matt Cameron (Soundgarden, Nudedragons, 3rd Secret, Temple of the Dog, Wellwater Conspiracy, Skinyard, Hater) has exited Pearl Jam. He sat behind the kit for the band for 27 years, replacing Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers). He played on the last seven Pearl Jam studio albums, and 22 of the 23 live albums (official and unofficial) since 1998. He is a two-time Rock N Roll Hall of Famer with both Pearl Jam and now Soundgarden in 2025. A replacement has yet to be announced. Read statements from Matt and the band below.
