Capulet Fest Ticket Holders File a Class Action Lawsuit Against Capulet Entertainment


 

Following the disastrous events surrounding second annual Capulet Festival, and according to a published report from Lambgoat, a Class Action lawsuit has been filed against the festival. The lawsuit sees ticket holders taking legal action against event promoter Estevan Vega and his company, Capulet Entertainment. Following the festival’s cancellation of its third day, the departure of many bands, and venue change, attendees are seeking refunds for their ticket purchases. Many fans also lost travel, accommodations, and money associated with them. The lawsuit alleges that Capulet Entertainment engaged in deceptive advertising and made misleading representations of the event, ultimately failing to deliver on the promises made to ticket holders. The Connecticut Attorney General Has Launched an Investigation Into Capulet Fest


 

Following last weekend’s embattled second annual Capulet Festival, and according to a published report from Lambgoat, the Connecticut Attorney General has announced an investigation into Capulet Entertainment LLC following numerous complaints about the Capulet Music Festival. In a statement aired live by WFSB Connecticut News, the Attorney General was frustrated and angry over misrepresentations and unmet promises made to festival-goers. Capulet fest as originally a three-day event set to take place at Thompson Motor Speedway, was whittled down to two days and 30 less bands at the 11th hour before the fest took place. Sunday’s schedule was canceled with no notice. Many fans bought tickets and traveled for the event. Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals Officially Postponed Until October


In a story we are following, The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, a.k.a. Coachella, and its sister Country music festival, Stagecoach Festival, have officially been postponed from April to October amid panic over the coronavirus outbreak. The event, which was set to take place in Indio, California, on the weekends of April 10th and April 17th, will now take place over of October 9th and October 16th. Fans seeking a total refund will be notified on Friday, 3/13/2020. The lineup was set to include headlining performances from Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean. In a Twitter post, Goldenvoice, the AEG subsidiary that organizes the festival, said: “At the direction of the County of Riverside and local health authorities, we must sadly confirm the rescheduling of Coachella and Stagecoach due to COVID-19 concerns. While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.Continue reading
