A tribute project to the legacy of Chris Cornell, King Ultramega have just released a cover of “Rusty Cage,” originally by the late singer’s iconic grunge band, Soundgarden. In addition to metal and rock luminaries, the album was mixed by Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God). Delivered in collaboration with Reigning Phoenix Music records and MusiCares, it is the collective’s debut and comes with an animated lyric video. Watch it below and find out more.

Tom Petty, American Rock Icon, Dead At Age 66
Tom Petty, part of the fabric of American Rock Music for over forty years died last night at age 66 of a massive heart attack, leaving fans, friends, and family devastated by the sudden news. Petty had just wrapped up his 40th Anniversary tour with his band The Heartbreakers, last week at The Hollywood Bowl, which would fittingly be his final performance ever. Continue reading
