Black Metal/Blues/Gospel artist Zeal & Ardor’s track “Devil Is Fine” was heard in the cold open of the latest episode of Mayans MC, on FX/Hulu. The show, a spin-off of the popular Sons of Anarchy, is in its fourth season and like SOA, uses music to great effect each season. “Devil Is Fine” comes from the debut album of the same name originally released in 2016, and rereleased to wide acclaim in 2017 MVKA. Their self-titled album was released in February of this year.
Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans MC jhas gone to the rock,, metal, and punk well again this year for season 3. Sons of Anarchy spin-off series Mayans MC just debuted their third season on FX, and like its predecessor, music figures prominently in its storytelling. Motörhead is a legendary favorite band in the MC culture, so it’s no surprise to hear their classic track “Killed By Death” pop up in the season three premiere. The single “Killed By Death” was originally released on Bronze Records on 1st September 1984, produced by Vic Maile and Guy Bidmead.
