The popular music resource site, Discogs turned 20 years old this week and the founders of the site are looking back at its history with a blog, a super cool infographic, and a reshare of their 15yerar anniversary video! Discogs.com’s domain name was registered on August 30, 2000, and Discogs itself was launched in November 2000 by programmer, DJ, and music fan Kevin Lewandowski originally intended to be a large database of electronic music. In addition to a great database of all genres of music (but also rock and metal), the site is used as a hub for distributors and collectors, sometimes acting as an online store for DIY record shops.
