Pearl Jam has announced new and rescheduled US tour dates, stemming back to the start of the pandemic in 2020. Their album Gigaton was released at the start of the pandemic and the band has not toured behind it. Dates are booked for May and September 2022. The updated routing also includes four additional concert dates in Fresno, Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Camden. Josh Klinghoffer’s (ex-Red Hot Chili Peppers) solo project, Pluralone, will open all dates on this tour. Klinghoffer will also join Pearl Jam as a touring member on these dates. A special ticket pre-sale for all tour dates begins today for current eligible Pearl Jam Ten Club members (active as of Sunday, March 13). There will be no general public sale. All public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster Verified Fan Registration. Verified Fan ticket registration is open now through Sunday, March 27 at 10 p.m. PT and the Verified Fan Onsale begins Tuesday, March 29 at 10 a.m. local time.

John Frusciante Reunites with The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Josh Klinghoffer Steps Down
The Red Hot Chili Peppers have welcomed back guitarist/vocalist John Frusciante to the band, replacing Josh Klinghoffer for the last decade. Josh, began touring with the band in 2007, and handled guitar duties on 2011’s I’m With You album as well as 2016’s The Getaway. This will be Frusciante’s third time in the band, joining officially in 1988, appearing on their commercial breakthroughs Mother’s Milk and Blood Sugar Sex Magick. After quitting in 1994, he returned for 1999’s Californication, 2002’s By the Way and 2006’s Stadium Arcadium.Continue reading
