Dethklok Books a Co-Headline Tour with BABYMETAL, Two New Albums, and a New Movie Coming Soon
The long-awaited return of Adult Swim’s favorite heavy metal adventure “Metalocalypse” arrives with a nationwide tour of the series’ on-screen band Dethklok. A full-length original film, written and directed by Brendon Small, “Metalocalypse: Army of the Doomstar,” a companion soundtrack, and “Dethalbum IV” will also arrive this year. Dethklok will kick off their twenty-nine-date national tour on August 30 with Japanese kawaii metal pioneers BABYMETAL as co-headliners and virtuoso guitarist Jason Richardson (All That Remains) as support. All That Remains Names Jason Richardson As Their Permanent New Lead Guitarist
Ending speculation by fans and misinformation in the press, All That Remains have formally announced Jason Richardson (ex-Born of Osiris, ex-Chelsea Grin) as their new full-time guitarist. The band released a statement via social media after a recent interview and press coverage misquoted the band as saying they were not ready to name a replacement. Richardson had filled in for the band as a temp performer on their most recent tour of Europe with Sevendust. Richardson steps in for Oli Herbert who died on October 17th of 2018. Polyphia Supporting Dance Gavin Dance On Upcoming Tour
Dallas instrumental outfit Polyphia will be releasing a remastered and repackaged version of their debut album Muse on April 21, 2015 via Headphone Music/Equal Vision Records. The album was produced by Nick Sampson [Of Mice & Men, Asking Alexandria]. Stream the music video for “Finale” here.

“We’re very excited to be re-releasing our debut, Muse, through Headphone Music / Equal Vision Records! The re-release features 11 remastered tracks with all new artwork designed by our very own Tim Henson,” shares the band. “We’re stoked to be on the EVR roster with the likes of The Dear Hunter, and alumni such as Circa Survive, Coheed and Cambria, and Portugal. The Man.”
