Incubus have signed with Island Records and will release two EPs in 2015 with one expected out in February/March and the other to follow in the summer. Check out “Trust Fall”, a new song debuted at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas concert in Inglewood, CA, their first proper public show in over a year, here.
Guitarist Mike Einziger talked about the new material:
“Most of the music we’ve written is high energy. [But] we’ve written our slowest song, but also our heaviest song.” The latter is “Make Out Party.
There’s a track called “Dance Like You’re Dumb. Our version of a loud aggressive rock song. It’s definitely not what someone would expect from us.”
“This is what the band sounds like in 2014, 2015.”
