Watch Howard Jones (Light The Torch) Sing with Killswitch Engage in Quebec City

Former Killswitch Engage singer Howard Jones, presently of Light The Torch, joined his former band on stage in Quebec City, dueting with original/founding singer Jesse Leech for their hit ‘The End of Heartache’. The song is the title track to the platinum album via Roadrunner Records from 2005 that Jones made his debut on. Jones’ new band Light The Torch, which released its debut album, “Revival”, after issuing two efforts under its previous name, Devil You Know, is currently on tour. Killswitch Engage will release their highly anticipated new album next fall. The record will be their first under their new deal with Metal Blade Records in the USA and Sony Music Entertainment in the rest of the world. The band leaked the information in a post to Instagram, promoting their current tour with Parkway Drive. The new chapter in The Transformers Movie series, Bumblebee is out now. Starring actress and pop singer Hailee Steinfeld, the music in the film has a decidedly 1980s sound with songs from Bon Jovi, Sammy Hagar, The Smiths, Tears For Fears, Duran Duran, Rick Astley, Howard Jones and more heard in the film. Trivium’s Matt Heafy Leaves Tour To Be With Pregnant Wife, Fill-ins Announced

Trivium shredder and screamer Matt Heafy left his current headline tour to race home to be with his pregnant wife who is carrying twins. In a video shared to social media, Matt said he was gutted to leave the tour, but needed to be with his wife, who might give birth at any time. Rather than cancel the remaining dates, Howard Jones of openers Light The Torch (ex-Killswitch Engage) and YouTube vlogger/shredder Jared Dimes will fill in the remaining dates. There is a possibility that Matt will also rejoin the tour at some point. The band is out on the road supporting last year’s album The Sin and The Sentence (Roadrunner).Continue reading →
