Watch Suicidal Tendencies Play With Ben Weinman On Tour

Legendary hardcore punks Suicidal Tendencies kicked off their current tour last weekend with a special show at Brooklyn’s soon to close House Of Vans, along with openers Killing Time and CHUD. They were joined by Ben Weinman, formerly of The Dillinger Escape Plan, who is touring with the band currently. The band also was joined in Brooklyn by Brian “Mitts” Daniels, formerly of Madball, who also played about half of the set on rhythm guitar. They played their classic debut album, plus a few more songs to an insane crowd of Suicycos. The bands’ tour continued on to the inaugural Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio. In addition to the current run of dates, the band previously announced two more shows this September in Boston and Washington DC, under the name “Still Cyco Punk After All These Years”. Still Cyco After All These Years (Epic) is the name of their 1993 covers album where they re-recorded their first album, which turns 25 this year. According to drummer Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer, Dead Cross) the band will release a new album this fall, and frontman Mike Muir seemed to echo that statement from the stage as well.  We’ll keep tracking news for the new Suicidal record as it develops. In the meantime, watch fan-filmed footage of the band live with the new line-up.Continue reading
