CONCERT REVIEW: Tool – Elder Live at Footprint Center
February 9th and 10th the Footprint Center stage, in Phoenix, AZ, lit up with the powerhouse that is Tool with direct support from Boston bred/and mostly now Germany-based band Elder. Elder started by warming up our ears to their heavy riffs and long instrumentals. This was my first time experiencing Elder, and I had never heard of the band until then. After this one experience though, I can easily see how the band fits and compliments Tool on this tour, as they too have some psychedelic and captivating soundscapes that just simply fits. CONCERT REVIEW: Tool – Steel Beans Live at The Fiserv Forum
It was your typical dreary night in November in Wisconsin. It snowed 4.5 inches the day before, and was a bitter windy cold. Luckily Tool came to town to warm things up with their two-plus hour-long set.
Adam Jones of Tool Shares Previously Unreleased VIP Event – Music Clinic Footage
In 2018, leading up to the release of 2019’s record-breaking Fear Inoculum album, Tool would perform a series of VIP sessions as clinics where the band performed live, did a Q & A, and “teaches” attendees how to perform some of their “hits!” They also used the opportunity to tease snippets of new music as fans were not allowed in with their phones. Guitarist Adam Jones has shared footage on his popular Instagram account of himself, drummer Danny Carey and bassist Justin Chancellor performing one of these clinics, filmed side stage by AEW ring announcer, Justin Roberts. Tool has just released their first ever collectable statue, based on the artwork of 10,000 days, and been announced as a headline band for next spring’s Welcome to Rockville 2023. Watch it now!

CONCERT REVIEW: Tool – Blonde Redhead: Live at The Chase Center
By my own admission, I have been to some weird Tool shows in my nearly thirty years as a fan. Some of them have been weird thanks to the band, and some have been weird, because well I’m (not a creep), a weirdo. One of my last shows before the world shut down was Tool at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, complete with an army of relentless rent-a-guards practically assaulting fans due to the notorious Tool cell phone policy. I’ve no issue with the policy, just the way it is implemented. Tonight was by far the weirdest Tool show ever for many reasons.
