Watch BABYMETAL Perform Their New Single From Download, 12 Inch Vinyl Coming Soon

BABYMETAL surprise released a brand new single, ‘Distortion’ this past May, delighting their fans. Now with a month to go the band have confirmed their release of a Distortion 12 vinyl worldwide on November 23rd, including a special version as part of Record Store Day Black Friday in the US and Canada. This vinyl will coincide with the bands Babymetal Wold Tour 2018 In Japan, including a show opening for Babymetal friends/fans Judas Priest. The single release ushered in a new storyline in the Babymetal mythos, including a new stage show in time for their current tour as well. Along with the studio recording, the new vinyl includes the recording of their live performance at Download Festival 2018 (UK) on June 9th. Former Forbidden And Nevermore Guitarist Tim Calvert, Dead At Age 52

Sad news as Tim Calvert, who played on essential metal albums for both Forbidden and Nevermore, has passed away at aged 52 from ALS. Tim’s passing was shared on Facebook by his sister Vicky Calvert-Hawkins. Tim played on Forbidden’s Twisted Into Form, Distortion, and Green and Nevermore’s Dreaming Neon Black. Following a career in music Calvert served as a Pilot for United Airlines. We send out condolences to Tim’s family, friends and fans at this time. Continue reading →
