Danko Jones Drop Their New Single and Video for “Everyday Is Saturday Night” – New Album Coming Soon

Canadian rockers, Danko Jones, have just launched their brand new single, “Everyday Is Saturday Night,” the second offering from a new album, due November via Perception records. The single comes with a cinematic music video, written, directed, and edited by Italian filmmaker Giacomo Triglia (Måneskin, Dolce & Gabbana, Jovanotti). It was filmed in Osaka, Japan, and stars Lidia Passarelli. Watch it below and find out more.

Danko Jones Sign with the New Perception Record Label – New Single “What You Need” Coming Soon

Danko Jones have just finished work on their yet-to-be-announced 12th studio album, tentatively due out in autumn 2025. For its release, they have signed to the Perception record label, part of Reigning Phoenix Music. The first single from the album, “What You Need,” will be available for streaming from April 4, just before the outfit to kick-off their 2025 festival season at Paaspop (NL). Find out more below.

Cryptopsy Wins The 2024 JUNO Award for Best “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” for their Album “As Gomorrah Burns”

Cryptopsy has won their first JUNO Award (the Canadian version of the Grammy’s) in the “Metal/Hard Music Album Of The Year” category! The band won for their album As Gomorrah Burns, out now via Nuclear Blast Records (read our review here)!  Cryptopsy won defeating past winners Voivod and KEN Mode, as well as Danko Jones, and Kataklysm. The 2024 Juno Awards kicked off on Saturday evening (March 23) at the Opening Night Awards in Halifax, Nova Scotia. To be considered for a nomination at the 2024 Juno Awards, national music release dates had to fall between the eligibility period of September 1, 2022 and November 2, 2023.
