Nine Inch Nails surprise dropped a brand new album, Tron Ares: Divergence, a remix album and companion to last year’s award-winning Tron Ares soundtrack. The original film score marked the band’s first major project and first-ever soundtrack album under the NIN banner. They won a Grammy Award this year for Best Rock Song with the track “As Alive As You Need Me To Be.” Released today, February 27, Divergence features previously unreleased NIN proper tracks alongside inventive remixes from electronic heavyweights including Boys Noize, Pixel Grip, Arca, Mark Pritchard, Chilly Gonzales, and Danny L Harle.
