Candlebox celebrated twenty-five years of their acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2018, which helped launch the Maverick Records label (Madonna, Deftones, Alanis Morissette, The Prodigy). In addition to an extensive tour of the USA this year, the band will return to Europe, for their first international run since 2017. Kicking off June 11 in Bristol, UK at Fleece, the routing will feature performances at iconic venues, including King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on June 16 and Islington Academy in London on June 19th. The band reunited last summer to play their debut album in full twice and will be performing it again in 2019 at select shows. In addition to co-founder and vocalist Kevin Martin, the current band includes a return of Dave Krusin, who also played on Pearl Jam’s iconic Ten album (Epic Records). Continue reading
