Joe Altier (Brand New Sin) Gets a Spotify Playlist


 

Joe Altier, the vocalist for Brand New Sin, has gotten his own Spotify playlist under his “Just Joe” moniker he records and performs under. The singer, pianist, and songwriter does originals and covers and has many studio and live albums already streaming. Joe also frequently streams video performances on YouTube and had an interview podcast. The band came out of hiatus in their hometown of Syracuse, New York for reunion shows in 2019, which produced their self-released Live at Lost Horizon live album.  Check out the playlist and his website for more on his future activities.

Watch Brand New Sin Perform “My World” at their Reunion Show


Brand New Sin reunited with it’s original/classic lineup Saturday, May 4th, 2019 for a sold-out hometown show at The Lost Horizon, in Syracuse New York. The show sold out in mere minutes, as did the VIP, and a pre-party with a band soundcheck as well. The demand was such that the band shot the performance as a live stream, four-camera pro shoot of the show, for a future release on Cleeng OnDemand service. So far there is no word on whether there will be future BNS shows with this lineup, but the band was sorely, sorely missed. Brand New Sin Announces Hometown Reunion Show For 2019


In a move some thought might never happen, Brand New Sin is reuniting for a career-spanning concert in their hometown of Syracuse, NY. All original members of BNS will participate, which will be the first time they will have appeared together in over a decade. The southern rock and metal inspired band (think Black Label Society meets COC with a piano) had some minor hits, recorded WWE entrance themes and put out five records from 2002 – 2011 for labels like Now Or Never, Century Media, and Goomba Music. This band was incredible for their time, and here’s hoping they do a tour or at least several more dates eventually. Continue reading


Joe Altier Releasing Chris Cornell Tribute EP Next Month


Singer-songwriter Joe “Just Joe” Altier has announced he will release a special EP next month, as a tribute to Chris Cornell,  who passed away on May 18th. All proceeds from Black Hole Sun, The EP  will be donated to Two Brothers’ Light Inc charity in Syracuse, NY where they work towards raising awareness of mental illness and eliminating stigmas surrounding suicide.
