Billy Joe Armstrong of Green Day has released a statement on behalf of his band, in the wake of their performance at Mad Cool Festival in Spain this past weekend. An acrobat performing elsewhere on the festival grounds died right before their performance in an apparent accident, but the band unaware of this played their set to close the show.
