Conquest Music Announce New Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) Single and Video for His Cover of “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix

There have been so many loving tributes to Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake, UFO, Alaska) since he passed away peacefully in 2023 at the age of 72. Bernie was always keen to show the music that inspired him, whether through his stage set or on his albums. In addition to 2023’s Working Man chart-busting solo albums since 2021 in Kings, Chess, and Trios, as part of his Inspirations series, in which he paid tribute to the artists that helped shape his taste in music and guitar style. With the approval of Bernie’s widow, Fran Marsden, the fourth album of studio recordings in the Inspirations Series, Icons, will be released on 9th May 2025.  As an appetizer for the album, a digital EP is out now featuring a remarkable Bernie Marsden interpretation of “Purple Haze” by Jimmy Hendrix. Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) Three Track Single “Bad Reputation” Out Now – Final Album Coming Soon

Today, November 24th 2023, the second single from the new album by sadly deceased former Whitesnake guitarist, Bernie Marsden, is released digitally. “Bad Reputation” features a classic Bernie bluesy riff that highlights that he was at the peak of his powers to the very end. The 3-track digital single offers a sneak peek into the musical brilliance of his upcoming final album Working Man, and includes two tracks from the limited-edition bonus disc that accompanies the first pressing of the album.
