On December 6, Metallica will perform during the after-race concerts as part of the 2025 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Yas Island, near Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. Three days earlier — on December 3 — the heavy metal giants will hit the stage for the first time ever in Bahrain at Beyon Al Dana Amphitheatre.
