Speed Share North American Hardcore Tour Documentary – Announce US Tour Dates

Speed, the Australian hardcore band, have shared a mini-film documenting their life on the road in North America. Running under the title of North American Hardcore, it also takes comments from some of the scenes luminaries who were involved in their 2022 tour. Speed return to the territory later this year, which you can find out about below the video in this article.

Speaking on the experience, vocalist Jem explains:

As Australian HC kids, we have spent half our lives worshipping what America has to offer.  So to finally perform on American soil and be celebrated in this way… there’s no words to describe that feeling!

Since the release of their Gang Called Speed EP on Flatspot Records in June 2022, Australian hardcore band Speed have become one of the most talked about bands in the genre. They’ve played energetic, packed shows and festivals across Australia, Europe, and Asia, and had their first, sold-out North American tour earlier this year. Today, the band shares a documentary following that run from Flatspot World in Brooklyn, NY to Baltimore, MD, and ending in Toronto, Canada, taking a look at the hardcore scene in America. Along the way they chat with the likes of Outburst, Drain, Raw Brigade, End It, Never Ending Game, and Flatspot Records’ owners Che Figueroa and Ricky Singh. The documentary was produced, filmed, and edited by the band’s frequent collaborator Jack Rudder.

Speed return to North America on July 30th with their second appearance at Los Angeles’ Sound and Fury. They’ll play headlining shows in California, Texas, and Arizona for the first time, before making their way to Philadelphia, PA on August 6th for a performance at This Is Hardcore alongside Bane, End It, Magnitude, and more.
