San Francisco-based heavy metal band Space Vacation released their fifth studio album, White Hot Reflection, on April 29th, 2022. The double album, produced by Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Machine Head), is now available to stream on iTunes, YouTube, and Spotify at the links below.
Bassist Kai Sun says, “Every human being on the planet can be placed into two categories: those who struggle to find meaning and those who find White Hot Reflection.” With subliminal messages, headbangers, and absolute fury, there’s something for every heavy metal fan on this album.”
Space Vacation takes inspiration from heavy metal icons like Motorhead, Judas Priest, Ozzy, and early Def Leppard, yet they are still able to blend in their own unique take on the genre and earn the heavy metal title in their own right. Lead vocalist Scott Shapiro notes, “White Hot Reflection is the culmination of 2.5 years of pain, loss, reinvention and good old-fashioned heavy metal! We’ve all been through hell over the last year and a half, so shotgun a brew, spark a joint and let us take you for a ride!”
