Formed in 2011 and built on over a decade of relentless forward momentum, Space Chaser has quietly cemented itself as one of Europe’s most dependable modern thrash acts. Their 2021 full-length, Give Us Life, charted at number twenty-four on the German album charts and earned the band slots at Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze, and Party. San, followed by two extensive club tours across Germany and the Benelux. When frontman Siegfried Rudzynski departed in 2023, guitarist Leo Schacht simply stepped up to handle lead vocal duties without missing a beat.
“Razorblade Bay” makes a strong case for where Space Chaser is headed next. Schacht describes it as “a fast and varied thrash banger, that pairs furious riffing and aggressive vocals with just the right amount of melody” — and the lyric video delivers exactly that, channeling the kind of sharp, high-energy crossover that has defined the band’s best work.
Their last single, “Ignite the Skies” came out last year from Metal Blade Records.
They will be performing at Protzen Open Air and Hells Pells Festival this year. Their soon-to-be-announced new album is on the horizon via Testimony Records.
