Slipknot’s Corey Taylor Completes Recording His Second Solo Album

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor has completed recording his new solo album, his second, at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, where he lives. Taylor began tracking the follow-up to 2020’s CMFT (Roadrunner Records) album in January with longtime producer Jay Ruston (Anthrax, Steel Panther). Corey’s bassist Eliot Lorango posted the news to his Instagram with a few photos. In addition to CMFT in 2020, Taylor released CMFB…Sides, via Roadrunner Records last year. Taylor has said previously his solo work will stand alongside his time in Slipknot, and record and tour fully to support these projects. Stone Sour is officially on hiatus.
