Slipknot just surpassed one billion views on their YouTube channel, and to celebrate, the band has released an interactive, 360-degree live video filmed by M. Shawn Crahan. The new clip for ‘The Shape’ was shot at last year’s Knotfest, and by moving your mouse around, you get to see the first ever performance of the song from every angle imaginable.
Here’s what M. Shawn Crahan said on the clip: “From the beginning, Slipknot’s goal has always been world domination. That goal is still the same today. The video for ‘The Shape,’ filmed at our festival Knotfest with our ‘maggots,’ and over 1 billion views on our YouTube channel, proves it’s happening. Like it or not.”
