Speaking about the new single, Scene Queen shares:
““Metalicious” featuring Left To Suffer is what happens if a tumblr indie sleaze club song was written in metal font. The song takes you through girls night at a metal show. The band is heavy, the drinks are flowing, and the girls are whipping their purses in the moshpit.”

On the upcoming EP, she adds:
“Metalicious the EP is as chaotic recession pop, y2k – coded, metal madness. I wanted an EP that was as fun to make as when I was writing the Bimbocore volumes and making music was fresh and new to me. In the spirit of Bimbocore, I experimented with the pop influences, but this time the heavy parts are the heaviest they’ve ever been. From deathcore features, to me laying down some of my lowest screams yet, this EP was as fun to make for me as it sounds through out. Yes there’s some trauma dumping in there, but it’s a Scene Queen EP so what do you expect?”

Scene Queen (AKA Hannah Collins) is not here to be quiet, and she is not here to apologise. With lyrics that come for the throat of misogynists and genre purists, Collins is not afraid to disrupt the peace. Don’t be fooled by Scene Queen’s colourful pink image. She’s as fierce as she is vibrant, with angst packed between every punchy lyric. Scene Queen is the epitome of the new emo scene. A new scene where everyone is welcome. Her music shows the cracks in society and breaks down the walls we put up everyday. To show that although this new scene may look different, we are all pink on the inside.
