LA punk trio, Rundown Kreeps, have released a music video for their ska-inflected single “Big Bear.” The track comes off their latest LP, RDK, which is out now on My Grito/Wiretap Records. Check out the new video and more in the article below.
Formed in 2009, Rundown Kreeps perform melodic punk rock blended with alternative rock, and dashes of frantic ska to keep audiences moving across a variety of dance floors. The band has released two full length albums as well as several stand alone single tracks. In 2020 the group signed with My Grito Industries, to release their sophomore album RDK. The album was recorded by Jonathan Mireles (audio engineer for Travis Barker as well as Machine Gun Kelly‘s “Tickets To My Downfall”) and includes special guest mastering by Roger Lima (Less Than Jake).
Notable tracks from the bands latest release include “Held Down” and “We All Go”, which were both added to rotation via Faction Punk on Sirius XM Radio. “Held Down” is also featured on the Spotify official playlist The Essential Ska.
Recently seen performing at Punk In The Park Festival alongside Pennywise, Descendents, Goldfinger, The Suicide Machines and more, the band has also been featured on SiriusXM’s Faction Punk, festivals such as The Fest and SXSW, and has shared stages with artists such as Pilfers, The Toasters, The Queers, Nekromantix, The Copyrights, and The Weirdos.
Rundown Kreeps have completed several tours throughout the Southwest, Pacific Northwest, and Hawaii. Their most recent being a month long headlining tour of the U.S. in the Fall of 22′ which included a performances in Austin, TX for KLBJ 93.7FM‘s 2022 SXSW showcase, as well as FEST 2022 in Gainesville, Florida.
