Royalty Kult are an alternative metal project with influences from hard rock and new wave to nu metal, but always with melody as the central force. Josh Michael and David Fulford-Brown have been making music together since 2009, originally under the band name Interim Divine. In 2016, they changed their name, and finally announced Royalty Kult to the world in 2020 with their debut album, Enjoying The End.
“‘Enjoying The End,’ to us, is the eulogy of the record,” the band said at the time about the title track in an interview with Brave Words. “It’s the culmination of ups and downs over the last four years of our lives.”
The band just entered the studio to record a record that will be out in 2022.
