Two years after its original release, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, and Militia Vox from Judas Priestess, have shared a duet of the Bad Penny track, “Push Comes To Shove,” via Sirius XM‘s Hair Nation channel. Check it out below.
DJ Mark Strigl announced that “this new song went under the radar” and played the duet “Push Comes To Shove” by supergroup Bad Penny (featuring members of Blue Oyster Cult, Journey and formerly from Queen) featuring the metal god and the metal goddess on dueling lead vocals. Hair Nation‘s format is mainly classic 80’s hair metal, and couldn’t play the song when it was newly released in Fall of 2022.
Militia Vox is the only artist to have a song with the person they’ve tributed. Militia Vox and Judas Priestess are mentioned in Rob Halford’s book Biblical and both Militia and Judas Priestess recently signed deals with Golden Robot Records [Sony/The Orchard distribution] and released new singles. Judas Priestess is the first all-female tribute band to sign a global record deal.
