Modern Progressive Death Metal leaders River Of Nihil have announced the release of the band’s fifth studio album, Rivers on Nihil, due out May 30th through Metal Blade Records. The band will share new single, “House Of Light,” will be released later this week, however, they clarified that two of the singles have been previously release, but they group has added changes to them. Those updated versions will also go live upon release day. Rivers on Nihil will be their first full-length album without former vocalist Jake Driffenbach and guitarist Jon Topore, both of whom exited the band in 2022. Both were replaced by vocalist/guitarist Andy Thomas (ex-Black Crown Initiate).

Yes, two of the singles we’ve already released are on the new album. We’ve added changes to both and freshened up the mix. Hellbirds isn’t on it because it’s essentially a B-side from The Work. You’ll be hearing 3 totally new singles between now and release day.
