Emerging from a shared musical history, Matthew Davis (guitar, bass) and Christian Wolford (vocals, bass, guitar) weave a tapestry of aggressive, angular guitars, driving basslines, and frenetic drumming, all punctuated by Christian Wolford’s impassioned vocals and unexpected sonic textures. The duo are joined by bassist/guitarist Gabe VanBenschoten and Failure’s powerhouse drummer Kellii Scott, Ritual Barbiturate defies easy categorization.

Pain Manager promises to be anything but routine, a dissonant yet artful exploration of modern angst. Haunting leads, textural noise, and layered rhythms create a soundscape that unveils new details with each listen. The “Tilt” single boasts a B-side bruiser with the track, “Pain Manager,” offering a double dose of the band’s unbridled sonic assault.
