Sad news as Quint Meerbeek, the former drummer and co-founder of Dutch Death Metal band Bodyfarm, has died. The news was broken by the band in a social media post on Sunday December, 3rd 2023, after a multi-year illness. In addition to Bodyfarm, Quint also played in ex-Bloodphemy, ex-Codex Mortis, ex-Deathmarch, ex-Funeral Whore, and ex-Autumnal Reaper. Read the post from the bad below. RIP.

After a long and brave battle, our dear friend Quint Meerbeek passed away last week.
Quint was not only a great drummer, a founder of Bodyfarm and a big inspirator to the Bodyfarm-legacy, above all he was the coolest & sweetest guy to hang around with.
It was a privilege calling you our friend. Thank you for all the laughs, the tears and the
great memories together, we will cherish them forever! Our hearts go out to his family
and loved-ones. ❤️
