Queensryche is In the Studio Recording a New Album

Queensryche has entered the studio with producer Chris “Zeuss” Harris for the third time. Zeuss is producing his third QR album in a row following Condition Human in 2015 and again on The Verdict The Verdict was released in 2019 via Century Media Records.

In multiple posts to the band’s Instagram, the band is underway recording in Florida for what will be their sixteenth album (17 – if you count Frequency Unknown) This will be the follow-up to The Verdict which saw Todd performing all the drum tracks.  This marks the first time drummer Casey Grillo will be playing drums on an album. He came in as a fill-in for longtime drummer Scott Rockenfield, who is presently embroiled in a lawsuit against the band. The band will soon hit the road opening for Judas Priest on the 50 Years of Heavy Metal Tour.

The official video for their most recent song Light Years (Directed by David Brodsky for MyGoodEye) can be viewed below.
