Arguably Queen’s most famous song, “Bohemian Rhapsody” surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify. The band is one of the few rock bands to surpass 1 million streams total, let alone 2 billion for one song. The track was released in 1975 as a single from their classic A Night at the Opera. The song has charted several other times in history, including after the 1992 movie Wayne’s World, and again with the release of the 2018 Academy Award-winning biopic of the same name, Bohemian Rhapsody. Other rock bands with over 1 billion streams for a single include’s Nirvana (“Smells Like Teen Spirit”), Journey (“Don’t Stop Believin'”), Guns N’ Roses (“Sweet Child O’ Mine”) and Linkin Park (“In the End,” “Numb”).
