“Our newest single, “Animals,” captures the raw tension between lust and love. As confusing as that can all be, it’s about embracing our instincts, even when they lead us to places we never expected. ‘We’re all just animals… and that’s just fine.” – Public Figure
“Animals” is a sleek track that radiates a glowing energy. The chorus is draped in catchy melodies that fit perfectly with the addictive atmosphere of the song. Public Figure hone in on their ability to modernize a staple pop-rock sound, setting high-standards as they kick-off 2025. Fans can catch Public Figure on The Broken Resolutions tour this January with Arcade Riot. Tickets are now available.
“The Broken Resolutions Tour is going to be an absolute blast! We love our Arcade Riot boys and can’t think of a better way to kick off 2025. In order, we will hit Des Moines, Chicago, Nashville, St. Louis, and Kansas City. The lineups and venues in each one of these cities are so perfect! We haven’t done much in these markets in the past, so we are excited about the opportunity to ramp that up in the New Year. Shout out to everyone who was involved in making this a possibility and an EXTRA shout out to those who provided us with a place to stay. Our band van is nice and cozy, but we’re about to find out if it’s Midwest-tour-in-January cozy!” – Public Figure
The Broken Resolutions Tour dates:
01/24 – Des Moines – Lefty’s
01/25 – Chicago – Cole’s Bar
01/28 – Nashville – The Vinyl Lounge
01/30 – St. Louis – The Heavy Anchor
01/31 – Kansas City – Minibar
More from Public Figure:
Public Figure is an alternative pop-rock band whose focus has been writing with the exclusive purpose of making their songs catchy and fun for themselves and their audience. With influences ranging from The Strokes and Red Hot Chili Peppers to Maroon 5, their debut singles “Poor and Pretty,” “Better Sleep,” and “Hollywood” have galvanized their local scene in Omaha, Nebraska, leading to multiple sold-out shows and a crowd that is obsessed with their art and personalities.
The band is comprised of four permanent members whose work ethic and experience in previous acts are now combined in a focused and potent team – Dolan Delano (bass) founded the band in 2019, and through a few lineup changes, has brought RJ Klingsporn (guitar) and John Faist (drums) into the band from their previous project Chasing Chance. Together with Roger Slatten (vocals), formerly of Letterbox, they have established a cult following in Omaha and surrounding major cities such as Des Moines, Kansas City, Sioux City, Lincoln, and Minneapolis. It is not uncommon to see crowds of 200-600 at shows where Public Figure plays – their personal draw in Omaha at shows they play once or twice a year can be upwards of 300+ on their own.
Public Figure is a band that strives to make music their lifelong career. To that end, they are willing to do the work required to make a lifelong impact on the industry and emotionally connect with our ever-growing fanbase. The band has recently released a unique live acoustic rendition of their glossy single “Hollywood.” The new version puts a refreshing spin to the original track. “This is “Hollywood” by Public Figure except this time, it’s raw, live, and acoustic. Big thanks to The Green Room Sessions by The Broccoli Creative Collective for making this live recording session happen.“
