For the second time in his career, Ozzy Osbourne has joined Spotify’s “Billions Club” with his classic debut solo hit song, “Crazy Train!” Ryan J. Downey’s Stream and Destroy newsletter shared the news. Ozzy previously joined the club in 2024 when Black Sabbath’s “Paranoid” hit the mark. “Crazy Train” joins other recent Rock and Metal anthems from bands such as System of A Down, Soundgarden, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Disturbed, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and more! Many of Ozzy’s solo concerts for decades ended with “Crazy Train!” The song hit the charts again after the death of Randy Rhoads, with a live version charting from the Tribute album, with the help of a classic MTV video. The news comes just one week before the anniversary of Ozzy’s passing last July 22nd. Other rock and metal tracks on the list include Metallica’s “Nothing Else Matters”, Aerosmith’s “Dream On”, Survivor’s “Eye Of The Tiger”, Papa Roach’s “Last Resort”, Guns N’ Roses’ “Paradise City”, Evanescence’s “Bring Me To Life” and more. 500 songs, mostly Pop, Rap and Country, have made the list so far. Billions Club as a playlist first launched in 2020 and includes all of the songs on Spotify that have surpassed one billion streams on the platform. After the achievement, Spotify gifts artists the Billions Club plaque.
