Owl Drop a Single and Video for “Flight Risk” – New Album Incoming

Bay Area heavy metal crew, Owl, have just dropped the video for their new single, “Flight Risk.” It arrives ahead of the May 29th release of their upcoming LP, On The Rocks, on Transylvanian Records. Watch it in the article below.

Owl took flight 20 years ago by the youngest of the Baechle Brothers, Axell, at the age of 12! Seeking to follow in the footsteps of his musician rich family, inspired to rock and taking influence from the greats in Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy & Budgie. Axell’s older brothers Alex & Clint all joined forces with one another to breathe life into the band.

Over the years, the band has released 3 full length albums, toured across the United States, Canada and done a lengthy European excursion. Never being afraid to experiment, the band has pumped out a wide spectrum of hesher tunes in the form of progressive rock, proto shred and traditional heavy metal.

On The Rocks, the fourth full length from Owl, is the band’s most focused output to date. It’s a superbly crafted anthemic hard rock album, inspired by legendary heavy metal, sleaze, psychedelia, and progressive rock!! Recommended for fans of The Scorpions, Dio, and Grim Reaper.

Catch Owl at their release show on May 23rd at Oakland CA’s Eli’s Mile High Club, along with Early Moods and Cobweb.
