“Vile Embrace” explores depression manifesting as this awful creature that has an embrace on you and your soul, and although you are tearing yourself apart trying to get rid of it, no matter how hard you try, it sticks with you forever.” – Cody Bennett, lead vocalist.

“Vile Embrace” is a merciless track that highlights ruthless guitar tones and venomous screaming vocals. The song has a grim edge to it as Our Demise adventures through the severity of certain themes such as mental health struggles.

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Our Demise presents a devastatingly heavy blend of modern and traditional deathcore and metallic hardcore, quickly solidifying their place as one of the cities’ heaviest up -and-coming young acts, with their hard-hitting breakdowns, tight rhythms, breathtaking vocals, and high energy live shows captivating audiences.

Sharing the stage with acts such as Thrown, Half Me, The Gloom In The Corner, Prompts, Sienna Skies, Graves, and Patient Sixty-Seven, the last few years have seen the band grow exponentially to a new level with their latest EP, Insidious, which includes singles “Vultures” and “Flesh Vessel.”
