Original Biohazard Drummer and Co-Founder Anthony Meo Has Died

Sad news as Anthony Meo, the original drummer and co-founder of Biohazard has died. He lost his multiple-year battle with cancer, according to a post from Billy Graziadei on his Instagram, in a post you can see below. Billy shared an early promo video of the band which gave the flavor of Anthony’s drumming and personality. Meo was the drummer of the band from 1987-1988 on the demo but was replaced by Danny Schuler ahead of the debut self-titled album from 1988. in which the band created their sound by blending New York Hardcore, Hip-Hop, and Thrash metal. The classic lineup of the band recently reunited and at their hometown comeback shows in New York recently, the band shouted out Anthony and even called him on the phone so the crowd could lift him up during his battle with illness. RIP.
