NOFX, currently on their farewell tour as a band, has dropped a new Mickey Mouse-inspired single and video “I’m A Rat!” The track comes from their upcoming new EP Half Album, due out on Fat Mike’s Fat Wreck Chords label on April 19th, 2024. In a statement from Fat Mike you can read below, he questions the logic of putting out an EP of “the worst” of the leftover tracks from Single Album and Double Album releases! Was it worth it? Was it worth spending five years finishing the five songs on my double album project that I thought were the worst of the bunch? Was it a good idea to spend so much time raising the runts of the litter? Was it an error in judgement when I wrote a song about the magnitude of my arrogance? I think the answers to all these rhetorical questions might be found by listening to this half-sided album….. but I seriously doubt it.
